Back by popular demand, Altered Book Workshop June 21,2008 9-4 PM
In this jammed pack class we will show you several book altering and transfer techniques while you learn some color theory and journaling tips. You just need to bring your scissors and have lunch break plans. All other materials provided.
Fee $85. (If you are a returning student and don't need supplies fee $70)

Metal Clay June 28, 2008 9-4PM Fee $110 includes 1 oz of Fine Silver Clay and everything needed to create beautiful charms and pendants. Events outside the Art Clinic:
Santa Barbara Arts, in collaboration with the Downtown Organization and neighboring art venues, is excited to present 1st Thursday, an evening of art and culture in Downtown Santa Barbara. On the first Thursday of every month, participating downtown galleries will stay open from 5-8 p.m. (or later) to offer free access to art in a fun and social environment. The next 1st Thursday will be Thursday, June 5th.
Join artist, Carol Kemp, as she demonstrates the many uses of metal clay. Made of 99.9% fine silver, metal clay is an innovative and relatively new medium for jewelry and object artists. Refreshments will be served.
