Look what you can make with Metal Clay!!!
Here are some jewelry pieces made by past students. Santa Barbara artist Lynn Fogel made a pendant and beads in the May class and Joan Redon of Santa Ynez made the bee and buddha pendents. Neither of these women had worked with metal clay before. Aren't these fantastic!!!

Today at ART CLINIC
Today we handed in our challenge and here are the results. I think this is very cool and I want to do another one. A month...or so...ago we all took a small piece of paper that had been cut up into 6 equal parts of an unknown painting...well one person knew what the finished painting was. The challenge was to reproduce your square into a 12 x 14 piece out of any medium and bring it in to the ART CLINIC on a certain day....and here are the results. I always find this amazing. You have no idea what the finnished piece will look at or how yor piece fits in so you have to just deal with the shapes, patterns and colors you see. Try it sometime. An even easier way to force yourself to see shapes etc. is to draw something that is upside down...try that and you will see what I mean....
